Shipping Information

Café Britt ships directly from Costa Rica, for the freshest taste. Our products make a short stop in Miami to go through customs and then continue to the final destination. We have set up our own logistics center in Miami to assure a smooth transition as the coffee enters the US transportation system of choice.

We aim to make your experience a simple, easy and enjoyable one. Our Standard shipping is always Free on all orders of 3 bags or more to the continental US.


Shipping Deadlines & Schedules

All orders placed by 1 pm PST will be processed and arrive in no more than 10 business days to their destination. Orders placed after 1 pm PST on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays will not ship until the following Monday or the next business day after a holiday. If a business day is a holiday, the order will ship the next non-holiday business day. Please note that International shipments may experience customs clearance processes which can delay delivery and are not within Café Britt's control.  Orders with Next, 2nd or 3rd Day Delivery Service must be fully processed before 1:30pm EST. Any changes requested on these orders after this hour will cause a delay, which will imply the shipment of the order until the next business day.



Signature For Deliveries

Our packages do not require signature for delivery and can be left at your door. The carrier will attempt to deliver 3 times before returning the package.


International Deliveries

Yes, our coffees and gourmet products can reach almost any corner of the world! We are proud to offer Café Britt for any international delivery. However, given country commercial laws and regulations, we cannot ship to the following: Mexico, Cuba, Spain, France, Italy and Russia.
Packages with destinations outside the continental US may be subject to customs fees or import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. Any customs or duty charges are always the responsibility of the recipient. Café Britt has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be since customs policies vary widely from country to country. These charges are not included in the product price.


Gifting

For international shippments, if the order is a gift, the package is marked as "Gift," but the value of the item is still stated on the customs form as required by customs authorities.


Processing and Cancellations

  • Orders that are in processing status can still be canceled prior to being shipped. Once shipped, the courier company takes possession of the order and it cannot be canceled.
  • For cancellations, please allow one billing cycle in order for credits to appear on your credit card statement.
