Roast: 5

Cafe Britt uses a time-tested roasting process to develop the sought-after flavors of the Costa Rican coffees. The light roast coffees still have dense beans and a more acidic tang, resulting in full-bodied flavors and citrusy undertones.

Altitude: 1,200 - 1,400 meters

Cultivated at heights of 1,200 to 1,400 meters above sea level, these beans benefit from an ideal environment that enhances their complex, rich taste profile.

Regions: Central Valley, Western Valley

Cafe Britt’s light roast coffee is a blend of strictly hard bean (SHB) Costa Rica coffee grown from two established regions: Central and Western Valley. The Central Valley region has fertile organic soil and high altitude that allows beans to mature slower.

On the other hand, the Western Valley region faces harsh climates and microclimate systems that help produce a wide variety of flavors from the beans.

Flavor Notes: Apricot, Caramel, Malt

Thanks to the beans’ rich flavor profile, you can get notes of tart, freshly sliced limes, apricot, and even a hint of malt. This complex blend is the perfect way to start your day.
