I fell in love with this coffee when I was in Costa Rica. Tarrazu can be found everywhere here in the States, but no Poas?! I like dark roasted coffee with that wake-you-up taste light roasts usually give me. I also brew my coffee strong.

5.0 By far our favorite coffee

We started out by buying several varieties of Britt coffee. We tasted them all and then ordered our three favorites. From these three, we chose Poas Volcanic Earth as our overall favorite. That's all we drink now. Our favorite sensations from this coffee are the sweet and full flavor. It starts from the moment you open the bag and ends with the last drop. Be sure not to stint on the amount of beans used to make a batch in the morning and, when grinding (as with any coffee), put a VERY SMALL amount (three drops) of water in the grinder to prevent static electricity from sending the grounds all over the counter!

Found this coffee on a recent visit to Costa Rica. This was the best thing I brought home& I have ordered more. Plan to buy again. Great smooth,strong coffee, delicious aroma!
