I've served Poas at dinner parties with great success. I am known in the family for good coffee and wine selections, and Poas delivered the flavor of something special.

Back in 2000 I decided to go on a journey for the best cup of coffee. it got to a point where I ended up in Costa Rica and decided to crete my own full body low acid coffee. I bought an ECO plantation in Turrialba and created the bean I was looking for. Back in 2003 I had heard about Cafe Britt. One of the most up and comming coffee companies in Costa Rica. I tried the coffee and was not too impressed at that time. Than back in 2006 I was shoping in a Costco and came across the Poas Volcanic Earth by Café Britt. What a shocker that was . I have never tased a more smother and full body ECO coffee in my life. it even blew away my coffee. Since that day I have put my plantation up for sale as I have finaly found the coffee of the decade Poas Volcanic Earth by Café Britt. Keep it up Britt your the best in the world..

I was visiting Costa Rica in 2005 when I hurt my back in a hotel in San Jose. The hotel wanted to do something to make my stay better and I suggested they give me some Costa Rican coffee which I loved. They sent me a case of Cafe Britt and I have been ordering from you ever since. It is the only coffee I drink and of the varieties, Poas is my favorite.

I believe I have tried every coffee product Cafe Britt has to offer, having been introduced to Cafe Britt while traveling in Costa Rica in 2000. Since then I have ordered every product available from Cafe Britt-and many others-- and I have to say anything by Cafe Britt, but specifically Poas Volcanic Earth is my absolute favorite, although I haven't had one Cafe Britt product I have not loved. I thought it would be interesting to try the Poas because I had hiked the volcano while there and the bag was appealing to me with the representation of the volcano.(i love ALL the bags!) It was an added bonus that it was the best cup of coffee I have had--flavorful and robust yet having a smoothly divine finish. Perfect for any time of day and any occasion--alone or with dessert, or breakfast--or as breakfast or dessert. Excellente! Thank you Cafe Britt for making my days yet again.

This is our favorite bean. While vacationing in Costa Rica we toured the Cafe Britt plantation and sampled *all* of the varieties, and this was our favorite. We've switched from exclusively Starbucks to exclusively Cafe Britt since our trip. And Poas is what we drink 80% of the time (we also enjoy Tarrazu Montecielo). Highly recommended. Smooth but flavorful. Coffee doesn't get any better than this!
