5.0 Peruvian Decaff

by Geoff from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear on Sep 28, 2010

It's not often that I can drink decaffeinated coffee without feeling that I am somehow missing something... until I tried this one, that is! Extremely smooth and rich. Deeply flavoured and completely devoid of bitterness of any kind. This is now one of my favourite coffees - and I never thought I would say that about a decaff! :o)

5.0 Peru Decaf.

by John Misany from Fountain Hills on Apr 30, 2010

I thought I try the Peru Decaf. to cut back on my caffiene and was impressed with the flavor. That's the only thing I've been drinking for the last two weeks and would definitely purchase this again.

4.0 Smooth, bold taste

by Deborah from Whitsett on Mar 31, 2010

It's difficult t find a decaf coffee in the States that give me the satisfaction that this coffee provides. I've tried so many that seem to have a slightly burnt taste that is just off-putting! This coffee is smooth to the palate and has a pleasing aroma. The ordering experience is painless -- and shipment is so quick. I'm a big fan!

Product Detail

Yes, this is Decaf! But you’d never know it. Café Britt uses a European water-based decaffeination process that preserves this remarkable coffee’s outstanding aroma and flavor. Mountain-grown and carefully harvested, Peruvian coffee is one of the finest pure varieties to decaffeinated. Exceptional flavor, without the jitters.

  • 100% Arabica SHB (Strictly Hard Bean).

Coffee Connoisseur

The same pleasing flavor profile as our Peru Dark Roast but without the caffeine. Select coffee beans from Peru’s central Chanchamayo Province are decaffeinated using the indirect water process to preserve the beans’ natural flavors.

Coffee from this region is carefully grown by the ‘colonos’ – native Andean farmers – who use the same traditional cultivation techniques of their Inca ancestors. They remain some of the best horticulturalists of the new world.  Their watchful care of the beans, the high altitude of approximately 1,200 meters above sea level and a tropical climate result in a coffee bean of superb quality.

Expect a clean, delightful aroma, high acidity and medium body that are well balanced with an exquisite flavor. All this without the caffeine!
