This is a delicious sweet treat. Better than the brittle I slave over a Hot stove to make, and mine is pretty darn good.

Candy Connoisseur

Forms of brittle were likely the first candy ever made by using honey to preserve nuts centuries ago. Café Britt follows a careful process, updating this ancient candy tradition by pairing choice macadamia nuts with a crunchy, buttery candy.

Due to their soft texture, buttery flavor and unique nutritional values, macadamias are one of the most sought after nuts in the world.  They begin as buds on evergreen trees that thrive in Costa Rica's rich volcanic soils, nurtured by abundant rainfall. After the nuts ripen and fall naturally from the trees, we hand harvest and select only the best nuggets for our brittle candy making process.

High quality, natural ingredients are only one of the secrets to crafting this tempting treat.  Instead of the high fructose corn syrup commonly used, Cafe Britt makes candy with all natural sugar resulting in fewer calories. We also take care to ensure that our carefully selected macadamia nuts are well dried before making the brittle to keep them from getting soggy and to guarantee optimum crunch. The dried nuts are added to a caramel-textured candy, poured onto sheets and hand cut while still warm.  As it cools, the candy becomes hard resulting in the addicting, buttery crunch.  Just try to stop at one bite!
