5.0 This is my all time favourite coffee!!

by Lori from Kemptville, On on Jul 6, 2012

I've been drinking coffee for 20 years and this one hands down is my favourite, even over the over priced coffee I buy at the coffee shops. Highly recommend and I know it will be a staple in my order.

5.0 It's not just me.

by Meagan Moore from Round Rock, Tx on Jun 4, 2012

Ever since I visited costa rica and tried the coffee locally, I have never gone back. Every time I serve this coffee to my friends they love it just as much as I do. Furthermore the true mark of greatness for this coffee is that it needs nothing. I like it just the way it is. So I like it and my friends agree.

5.0 Ahhh and wow!

by Jen H from Aurora, Co on May 22, 2012

Simply put... it tastes real good! This coffee is almost sweet. It is extremely smooth and pleasant with a strong-soft flavor but not overpowering. This is currently my favorite. I still have 1 more to try from my order or 5 varieties. I use to order a gourmet coffee from a company that starts with "G", but I do not like the taste of chemicals. I am glad I found this wonderful coffee!

5.0 Great Coffee Well Worth the Cost

by Jordan from Spokane, Wa on Dec 7, 2011

I visited Cafe Britt a few years ago with a group from my college. I was part of the "Breaking the Cup" demonstration. As soon as I tasted the coffee, I knew this was the best coffee I had ever tasted and is still my favorite to this day!

A must try for coffee lovers who crave the best. Backed by two centuries of expertise and nurtured amid cool volcanic mountains and an ideal climate, the coffees of the Tres Rios region are considered "the Bordeaux" of Costa Rica. Dark roasted, the penetrating, honey-nut aroma of Café Britt Tres Rios compliments the hints of plum and allspice in its elegant, complex flavor. This coffee caresses the palate with a memorable soft and friendly finish.

  • Kosher certified.

Coffee Connoisseur

Start your day just once with this lively coffee and you’ll be hooked! These beans hail from a tiny region steeped in 150 years of coffee-growing tradition. Tres Rios is renowned for producing some of the world’s best coffee.

What makes it so special? A high-mountain climate, marked wet and dry seasons, and soils enriched by the Irazu Volcano provide nature’s optimum conditions for growing fine coffee.

This dark roast is a bit softer and more balanced. It fills your cup with a lively snap that’s bright enough for morning, but rich and complex enough to enjoy all day. Tres Rios Valdivia is a perfect single-origin taste experience.  Simply superb!
