The flavor of this coffee is amazing. I have been to both Costa Rica and Peru and tried lots of their local coffees, and I have tried different varieties online from Cafe Britt. This one is by far my personal favorite. I used to order a mix of coffees to have some flavor diversity but I always found myself just wanting to get through a bag of something else so I could open the next Tarrazu. Now I just order all Tarrazu and don't pretend like I care to drink anything else. Very highly recommended.

My Best friend went to Costa Rica and brought back a bag of this heavenly ground. After I finished my bag I went online to purchase more!! never again will I Drink other coffee unless I need a sweet coffee made by a barista. If you want good black coffee or a nice strong cafe latte, wit the proper balanced taste, and acidity. This would be it. It's just silky smooth!

5.0 What is wonderful??? Tarrazu!!!

I stopped drinking coffee more than a few years ago. Then my husband started ordering coffee from Britt. We received a bag of Costa Rica Espresso from a neighbour to try as he likes strong coffee. Then we started ordering it online. He purchased one bag of the Tarrazu as a "trial" it was recommended by a Britt rep we spoke to and I tried it and was hooked. I love this coffee from the aroma to the fabulous taste. It is the BEST coffee sold!

During our trip to Costa Rica this past Spring, my husband and I toured Cafe Britt Coffee Plantation. A delight to learn about coffee and we ordered coffee to be mailed home. A great convenience! And the coffee has been a great pleasure to enjoy and share for weeks to follow our tour of a beautiful country. Cafe Britt understands coffee and those who enjoy it!

Café Britt Tarrazu will surprise you with a flavor that hints of cacao and grapefruit and an aroma of aged wood and dark chocolate. Its intensity fills the palate, then fades cheerfully.

The beans from Tarrazu mature slowly, learning patience from their infancy. Sheltered by the Pacific mountain range, these sought-after beans share their sanctuary with colorful birds and enchanted forests.

Small towns and villages, each named for a patron saint, speckle this high-mountain region. Generations of farmers known for intense dedication to their craft have grown these particularly hard beans on small plantations nestled in valleys and perched on mountain slopes. The beans ripen slowly; requiring coffee pickers to visit each tree three to four times, plucking only the ripest beans, which are then dried under the Costa Rican sun.
