5.0 So happy!

by Kim Giles from Tarpon Springs, Fl on Sep 11, 2012

I lived in CR a few years ago and I missed the coffee so much! I've tried to find others here int he US that would be a good substitute, but nothing compares to CR coffee and Britt has always been my favorite! I'll be ordering more soon!

5.0 Wonderful coffee!

by Tammy Mascarenas from Chandler on Aug 29, 2012

Living in the United States, we used to cross the border into Mexico to get Cafe Combate. Since it is next to impossible to do this nowadays in an expedited manner, we are so happy that Cafe Brit Costa Rican Dark Roast tastes very similar. It is also very convenient because I can get it by mail! Thank you Cafe Brit!

5.0 Way better than Starbucks

by John from Rocklin, Ca on Aug 5, 2012

Went to Costa Rica a few years ago and then again a year later with my brother and his wife. All of us are now hooked on CafeBritt. We order enough for our home and enough for our cabin in Tahoe, we always get complements when our friends try it for the first time. A few weeks ago I had some friends visit who was used to waking up to our CafeBrit coffee, but we ran out and had to drink another brand it just wasn't the same in fact one of my friends said " where is that good coffee? We were so looking forward to the coffee you served last Time." so I got online and ordered more CafeeBritt, it is noticeably better than the other brands we love it!

Coffee Connoisseur

Britt’s Costa Rican Dark Roast is the reason the why world loves Costa Rican coffee – its taste is as enticing as its aroma.  Our experts select the beans for this classic blend from different parts of the Central Valley, where a combination of climate and soil produce the world’s best coffees.

The Central Valley’s high altitude causes the beans to mature more slowly. This makes them harder and less porous. Hard-bean coffees have higher acidity — a quality that brings out the coffee’s greatest aromatic features.  Hard beans also stand up well to a darker roast.

Our Costa Rica Dark Roast is roasted until the beans show a dark chocolate color and some of their natural oils begin rising to the surface. This gives the brewed coffee a stronger flavor and heavier body.  Your senses will discover hints of figs and red wine, with a dried-wood undertone.

Learn why Costa Rica is known for coffee.  Gather with your friends for a cafecito and sip our Dark Roast together with a nibble of Britt’s gourmet chocolate.
