In our taste comparisons, Café Britt Espresso continues to be the top pick over other Costa Rican, Kenyan, Jamaican, Sumatran, Kona, and Italian coffees. Very smooth and flavorful. Add a chocolate biscotti and it is truly sinful. Do I recommed it? To everyone I talk to about coffee!

5.0 Two shots first thing every morning!!!

Wouldn't dream of starting my day without my Cafe Brit espresso. Got my first bag on a trip to Costa Rica. I've been in love ever since. It's my favorite box to get in the mail!

5.0 Great balanced espresso blend

Cafe Britt delivers a great well balanced espresso blend with a roast that is rich and dark, but not burnt! Its also a very forgiving blend in that if you do not have a high end espresso machine, you can still get a good shot of espresso with a creamy crema every time. I enjoy mine straight up, or with some steamed milk... and its great any time of the day.

The best espresso comes from high-quality, well-roasted beans, finely ground and pressure-brewed in an espresso machine.  Properly brewed, the “small shot” is crowned with a layer of rich, dark-golden cream or crema.  

The Café Britt Costa Rica Espresso blend begins with the finest beans from Costa Rica’s Central Valley.  We dark roast the beans until their natural oils and sugar rise to the surface.  The result is an espresso with a fruity flavor that hints of apple and wild flowers.
