5.0 "World Traveler finds best espresso!

by Fitflyer from Atlanta, Ga. on May 6, 2009

I've traveled all over the world and bought coffee in all the places that are known for coffee. I was on a quest to find the best coffee in the world. I LOVE Britt Coffe from Costa Rica. I buy the packages for my friends for gifts and I order coffee over the internet when I can't get to Costa Rica. If I go there I always pack light so I can bring home plenty to store in my freezer and a few bags for friends. Thank you for an amazing coffee. I will always be a fan.

5.0 Great Taste, Smooth Blend in every cup!

by Mick from Sacramento, California on May 6, 2009

Cafe Britt's Espresso Beans are a suprise treat! Great in an espresso, but not too strong in normal cup of coffee. It's rich, full body is a welcome start to my day, or a relaxing end to one. Without a doubt one of my favorite Cafe Britt coffees!

4.0 Good Stuff Among Latin American Coffee

by Ella from Ottawa, canada on May 5, 2009

I only purchase Espresso from Cafebritt.com. I have tried both Costa Rica and Peru Espresso. Personally I prefer Costa Rica one. It is the strongest among most Latin American espresso, such as Columbia (starbuck is using Columbia's). Its taste is more smooth, comparing to Italian, however. I find, for Italian espresso, coffee machine is the best tool. But for this Costa Rica espresso, coffee machine cannot produce much foam, and I don't know why. So I suggest use stove-top espresso maker to make it, and if nothing goes wrong, you should enjoy it. I am regular buyer from this website. First, in the place I live (Canada, not big city), it is hard to find real good italian espresso. Also, think about the costs... After all, since my friend recommends Cafebritt to me, I have been purchasing on the web for years.

5.0 Best Expresso beans

by Louis from Ottawa, Ontario on Feb 5, 2009

I've tried lots of different coffee beans to use in my stove top expresso over the years. I always come back to Cafe Britt Expresso beans. I've tried Italian expresso beans, dark expresso and different coffee roasted beans. But they can't match the Cafe Britt Expresso beans. Cafe Britt has found the right roast and with its low acidity, makes for a pleasant, smooth and flavorfull cup of cafe latte or cafe au lait every morning.

Coffee Connoisseur

Many people mistakenly believe that espresso is a particular variety of coffee. Espresso results from the process of roasting and brewing.

The best espresso comes from high-quality, well-roasted beans, finely ground and pressure-brewed in an espresso machine.  Properly brewed, the “small shot” is crowned with a layer of rich, dark-golden cream or crema.

The Café Britt Costa Rica Espresso blend begins with the finest beans from Costa Rica’s Central Valley.  We dark roast the beans until their natural oils and sugar rise to the surface.  The result is an espresso with a fruity flavor that hints of apple and wild flowers.

Creating the perfect espresso is both an art and a science.  We have used our expertise to provide you with the best ingredient.  The brew is up to you.
