Giving back to our communities is part of the Britt culture. Here’s a look at what’s been keeping our volunteers busy.

 

Activity “Environmentalized,” City of Heredia

May 6 – Britt volunteers pitched in on a local recycling event and helped receive and sort recyclable trash dropped off by Heredia residents at the city’s collection post in the city’s Central park. 

 

Clean-up in the capital city

May 17 – Britt volunteers teamed up with the Qadra Brigade to launch a clean-up effort in Costa Rica’s capital city and helped other collaborating businesses spread the word about sound environmental practices.

 

Clean-up in Carara

May 22 – We headed to beautiful Carrara National Park on the north-central Pacific Coast to help with a clean-up effort there. The following week, the daily La Nación newspaper published a story on the effort. 

 

Trees for ‘rabbits’

June 4 – Our volunteers helped the Qadra group plant young trees in Los Conejos (Rabbits) Park.
